I am a Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar in Organizational Communication and Researcher at the Risk and Disaster Communication Center, directed by Dr. Shari Veil, in the University of Kentucky Department of Communication.
I research the intersection of technology and organizational change from a social scientific perspective. I use both qualitative and quantitative methods, and sometimes mix them in my research. My current research focus is the accumulation of interactions between people and other people, and people and material objects, in the ongoing process of change over time for new and emerging organizations (i.e., start-ups).
My research and teaching interests are deeply informed by my industry experience with organizations that continue to grapple with the intersections of strategy, technology, innovation, and the digital space. I'm interested in group and organizational communication, information and communication technologies, collaboration, and organizational change and innovation.
